Maid Brigade's Green Clean Certified™ system is the only housecleaning system that uses green cleaning chemicals that are certified by Green Seal for a safe, yet thorough cleaning. And our equipment and processes follow many Green Seal standards for cleaning services.
Unlike harsh cleaning chemicals, our green cleaning solutions meet Green Seal’s environmental standard for industrial and institutional cleaners based on their reduced health risks and smog production potential. Green Seal certified cleaning products meet several important criteria, including:
Maid Brigade uses the ProTeam 4-stage filtration vacuum, to remove 99.9% of all air particulates 1 micron and larger for maximum indoor air quality. Conventional vacuums release many particulates back into the home. ProTeam is partnered with the American Lung Association to educate the public about the importance of healthy indoor air quality. Our ProTeam vacuums are recommended by the Carpet & Rug Institute, for meeting their Green Label Program standards for soil removal, dust containment and carpet appearance retention. ProTeam vacuums are also approved by the US Green Building Council for LEED credit.
We use microfiber cloths and mops instead of cotton or paper. Microfiber uses a scientific weave that is more effective at removing dust, dirt, germs, grease and lime safely and effectively. Microfiber cloths last longer than traditional cloths, reducing environmental impact.
We've developed our Green Clean Certified system to respond to the growing evidence that traditional cleaning methods do not promote a healthy home or a healthy environment. Because there is currently no third party recognized green cleaning standard Maid Brigade researched and developed our own, proprietary standard.
When a Maid Brigade franchise displays our Green Clean Certified logo, you can rest assured they are adhering to the highest standard for a safe, yet thorough Green Cleaning.
